Moderators: Java SE - Basic sorting

Newsletter

Hey, you rockin' moderators!

Java SE - Basic ... now easier

We thank you kindly for the great work you did sorting Java SE questions! Now the exam is reasonably easier.

Yesterday the dev team redeployed. All the bugs have been fixed – we tell you about some new features in the next all-users newsletter.

We know there were a couple of annoying bugs for the Java SE question sorting. They're out of the way, so now we can go keep going with this effort.

Please: NO unchecked questions with a QSR < 50% ---> that's the goal we'd like to achieve.

Start from the question list sorted by QSR in the exam zone, and review each question with a QSR < 50% (with at least 10 views and no check name).

Either the question is OK (and it's just the people aren't as smart as you are ;-)), click the check button to give your approval.
Either the question is too difficult, and moved in the "to sort" category, as usual.

As you know, the system does not automatically give contribution points for every action, eg: moving a question or obtaining an exam testimonial. So, DO NOT hesitate to ask Jeanne ("Brown Belt") Boyarsky for arbitrary points for your efforts, as explained in this thread.

When this portion of the sorting is done, you may want to do the same for good questions from the incubator.

Note that with the new page, "don't contribute here," that appears when authors add questions in Java SE - Basic, we managed to lower DRASTICALLY the contributions on this exam!

We never thought that we'd be happy with less contributions ;-)

Thanks for taking the time to read this!
